The softening of oil is an important process in the oil processing. It is mainly to improve the elastoplasticity of oil by adjusting the moisture and temperature of oil, which is the best condition for rolling blanks and reduces the powder degree and stick roll phenomenon during rolling blanks. Generally, softening is mainly applied to oils with low oil content and water content, high shell content, poor plasticity and hard texture. Such as soybean, cottonseed, rapeseed and other oilseeds. In order to achieve the desired softening effect, there are various softening equipment, which can be summarized into three categories.
Type I softening box:
Softening box is used to soften materials in oil making process. This type of equipment has faded out of the market due to too many defects.
The second type of vertical softening pot:
The structure of the vertical softening pan is like a vertical steaming and frying pan, which is formed by overlapping several layers of steaming pan monomers. Each steam boiler monomer has the same structure, with side interlayer and bottom interlayer. Steam is introduced into the interlayer to heat the billets. In the center of the pot, a vertical shaft passes through each layer, and each layer is fixed on the shaft to stir the material. From top to bottom, the materials pass through each layer in turn and are finally discharged from the bottom layer. The softener has a compact structure, but the blank is heated unevenly due to the dead angle of the material telecontrol during the heating process; In addition, the softening pot has long heating time and high energy consumption.
The third type is horizontal softener.
The horizontal softener, also known as the drum softener, is equipped with several groups of heating pipes rotating with the cylinder in the rotating drum. The inner wall of the cylinder is welded with an inner spiral plate, and the cylinder is slightly inclined during installation. The oil enters the drum from one end.
